The Chelsea Cooperative Nursery School (CCNS) is a nursery school for children aged 3 & 4, located in Chelsea, Quebec. Established in 1964, Chelsea Co-op Nursery School has developed and evolved into a local community institution. We are a non-profit co-operative association, and a registered charity (106911076RR0001). Our school is financed solely through tuition, fundraising and private donations.
The success of our school is due to the outstanding support of the parent members, volunteer executive committee members, dedicated teachers and overwhelming commitment from local businesses and our municipality.

The fundraising efforts play an important role in the life of the school. Each family is expected to get involved.

CCNS also believes firmly in creating a clear vision for our future. As a result, every 5 years our members engage in a process that will help guide the school to greater success; meeting the needs of our children, parent members and community within Chelsea.

Our Facility

Upstairs you will find our bright sunny classroom with areas for floor play, blocks, math and science, art and dramatic play

The children’s cubbies are located downstairs as well a large gross motor area , shared kitchen and tables for snack time!
