The Annual Bids4Kids Auction – Live & Silent Events – will take place on November 12th, 2011 at Camp Fortune Lodge in Chelsea Quebec. And this year we are very excited to be adding an online auction, our ‘You don’t need a Babysitter to Bid’ Event!
Schedule for the Bids4Kids Auction:
- You Don’t Need a Babysitter to Bid – Online Auction opens on November 4th and runs until November 9th. THAT’S RIGHT NOW!
- Live & Silent Events at Camp Fortune: November 12th
- Previews: 6:30 PM
- Silent Auction (Lot 1): 7:00 – 8:30 pm
- Silent Auction (Lot 2): 7:00 – 9:45 pm
- Live Auction: 8:30 – 9:15 PM
- Dancing and Drinks! with Music courtesy of Ottawa DJ Service (“Go Video Booth™” for people to record little videos of why Bids 4 Kids is important to their community!)
The Bids for Kids Auction is an evening of fundraising that goes to support programmes considered integral to the running of Chelsea Cooperative Nursery School, allowing us to fulfil our community’s and children’s needs.
This year we are hoping to enhance our Outdoor Education programme and keep the school accessible to all families in Chelsea, with low fees while providing excellent pre-school education.
Our other fundraising endeavour, the Bursary Fund, will be provided for entirely by the school’s United Way campaign, and will work towards helping families who need a hand financially enrolling in our nursery school.
